I'm of the view that the trolls and their Trumpist Putinist mates should be allowed to continue posting because their takling points flag geopolitical positioning by Putin. Sometimes its not what they say but how they say it that delivers insight.

A few hot heads aside, my understanding is that most of the Ukraine side won't fire until they see the whites of their eyes. To do otherwise would be suicidal. They also know that Putin needs to be seen as an aggressor who fired the first shots

The military outcome will depend on the flexibility (or otherwise) of the Ukrainian defenders. Fixed tactics won't work very well against Spetsnaz.

Unless Putin now agrees to sit with Biden at a table the global economy is cooked.
