While we have to stress that GNC is not a graingrower but a handler, its SP is rising a but more than two per cent this morning to $8.08.
If it's not in relation to good cropping outlooks, but a reaction to the Ukrainian situation, any SP movement upwards may have a whiff of irrationality or unjustified exuberance.
Although Putin is in essence invading (eastern) Ukraine, it remains too early as to calculate just how this will play out.
