There's a big chance that after ex date the share price will fall the same amount as the dividend. So basically the drop in sp offsets your dividend income and you pay tax on top of that.
If you sell now, you will have some cash to do something else, including buy back AVA at cheaper price in the future, avoid the foreseeable sp drop and tax on dividend.
