I thought I would make a quick reply on here,

You only need to look over MRC HC thread to see how little investors post or read the announcements.


MRC to form Ascent Graphite - Under 700 views and Zero posts

I do find it very odd that none of the long-term holders (my new friends) have posted on any of these significant developments, or tried to highlight the positives. although they are more than happy to discuss the negative aspects of the company.

IMO, all the damage started when MRC announced its MOU with superior graphite.

It was only an MOU which required ~US$20mil investment, it is interesting to see the trading on that day. The first arrow on your second image, (Showing Zurich Bay Selling) is the day MRC made the announcement. The SP was 30c the day prior and was pushed down to close at 23.5c

The following image is Zurich Bays' change of substantial shareholder notice matched with the ASX Announcements. ZB made up about 1/3 of the daily volume and sold at an average of 26.5c









You can see why retail investors have been scared off from MRC, It wasn't until Zurich Bay provided the change of substantial shareholder notices in November, you were able to work out why MRC was seeing significant sell downs on positive announcements.
