There was also zero evidence of any big pharma being interested in IMU not too long ago. Then out of the blue, Merck, Pfizer and Roche are involved. Similarly last time with VLA. No sign of any takeover talk or potential. And share price then was going down, down, down like a Coles advertisement. Then BAM!, a takeover offer from Merck.
In fact, based on above past history, I would say the more nothing is evident for a takeover, the more chances there is of something brewing. After all, when did any successful predator ever made a sound. And when were any prey aware of the predator until it is too late?
