DYOR. There are websites you can pay to subscribe to that track the AIS signal of any vessel in the world in real time.You can track any individual vessel and be alerted to its position, type, project, heading etc. Hence you can be alerted if a vessel leaves Singapore for example.
Its a very handy tool to check against waffle announcements.
