The State school system used to be run much better prior to about 1975. I believe it has gone downhill ever since.
Now they want less homework! Fewer hours spent at school. Less discipline etc etc. They say its too stressful on the children! I would have thought that with the growth of technology, they should be spending more time at school, and getting more homework.
They want to, and already have to some extent, brought up a generation of lazy bludgers, that wish to sponge off anyone they can to get by! There is this attitude going around, that its all too hard, so why try at all.
