re: lathams best stuff up yet We are our own worst enemy.

We have kids later and don't have as much time for them. We don't respect the teachers teaching our kids and don't pay them enough. We are more opinionated and are happy to tell them how we want it so long as we don't have to do it ourselves. The good teachers have left the system saying their job is not to raise other peoples kids.

We all are asked to get involved in parent teacher meetings these all lead to compromises. The result is that our kids are compromised.

So let's blame governments for these problems cus it can't possible be that we might actually be a fault. Lets pass our responsibility to an elected official and wipe our hands of any further part in the deal and wait and b*tch about how bad things are now. Lets be our parents saying that it wouldn't happen in our day.

How about that for societies in generals policy on education?
