This isMr Lincoln augustus, first second cousin of Holymagiman.

Well, we have been away harvesting Holymagiman's crops, and it has been hard work too, if I may say so. So we haven't had much time to write, and there was nothing much to write about anyway, since those drilling reports said it all.

Anyway, those drilling reports said it all to those who could see it coming, to those who understood what drilling is all about. drilling a well is a risky game, with more chances of missing than of striking it rich.

So it was interesting to note the well reports and they kept having a very consistent non-deviant theme. So the prospects got better and better as the well got deeper and deeper, till the announcement today.

It seems to me that the good folk who have not seen this coming are at least going to see it going ...up.

And it is taking a while for the news to sink in, but it is sinking in all right.

And for once, the papers have picked the story up, with the first report already out in your most famous newspaper, The Australian.

Things are looking very very good. I draw your attention to this little paragraph in the announcement of the gas discovery (please make sure that you understand fully what this means, because if you don't, you will again not see it coming)-

The field has a current estimated area of closure of 25km². The company will review the current resource estimate for the Kingfisher field IN THE COMING WEEK and expects that this will SIGNIFICANTLY INCREASE.

So, more news in the next few days.
