I just had feedback from a friend who manages several hedge funds, very well I must add, he has ALC privately.
His words "if this was a not a small-mid cap, they would be penalised for their inability to withhold certain comments and expressions by professionals".
the comment was relating to their 'poker faces' and the reminder not to accidently reveal the value of forthcoming contracts and even the allusion to that there are contracts coming.
the Ukraine Russia issue will be over largely by the end of the first week of march. That is when Russia would have helped restore the borders of the two defacto republics. Western media are way too alarmist. I have cousins in Ukraine that are going about almost business as usual. Russia claims it is not taking Ukraine, but securing the borders of the two defacto republics. Of course, Russia wants Ukraine to be destabilized politically, at what cost to the ASX?
