Just got a little update in regards to the trial.

I just went to the local COVID-19 testing centre and was told that they don't provide PCR anymore (unless I'm going in for a surgery), whilst they just gave each of us a box of 5 RATs (Chinese test of course) each. So I called and spoke to Anna again, and she said negative RATs are fine, doesn't have to be PCR.

So the plan now is to do a RAT in the morning before we head for the trial next week. And since we don't need PCR, it makes it more convenient to take more people.
