I mean, I get where you're trying to go, but...
People selling at these levels are either selling at a loss (if they bought at virtually any time in the last 10 months), or holding at 21 cents and are now selling at 3.1 cents (if they bought any time before the last 10 months)...
Not sure that's "brains". Maybe it won't ever go above what it is now again, in which case selling at a loss, claiming it and moving on is maybe the smart move. But that would be a surprise.
There is a bit of an HC attitude that anyone buying in on a quick rise has no idea and is acting in a frenzy, yet the people dumping into an oversold market have the market figured out and "get it" and are acting rationally.
Emotional frenzies in both directions is more likely, I think - anyone making money selling now bought veeeeery low, and held while it went veeeery high, and then through the massive plummet, only to sell now.
