You are missing the point again. SJP didn’t gain any performance advantage by moving funds out. If the decision to go with a selected fund is because it is a superior stock picker, in this case SJP has nothing to show.
Once this point is highlighted more widely, specially through those journalists, I am hoping investors will not move funds expecting better returns than from MGOC/MFG to be disappointed.
Of course the funds that have left MFG will not provide any revenue. But if investors start to notice this trend of performance, withdrawals can be stopped.
