The Emerging Market Funds are performing far better than Magellan Funds are. You are definitely looking at the wrong charts if you think GQG’s recent performance doesn’t stand out.
If you look at GQG’s report today, they have had $US2.2B in inflow and overall FUM performance increase of $US0.3B for February.
What other fund managers have you seen that have grown in February or since the start of this year?
Maybe ask a different question, where in Australian Fund Management history has a management team recovered from a loss of $40B in FUM?
Signs are ominous for Magellan.
