If the Ukrainians can keep knocking out Russian tanks and sending Russian troops home in body bags then this war could rapidly become deeply unpopular in Russia and be a catalyst for an overthrow of the gangster in the Kremlin.

Likewise, the longer this drags on the more the gangster in the Kremlin will target civilians, and it will become unacceptable to the West not to give overwhelming aid to the Ukrainians.
