Don't believe everything you hear or read. There's western media ie CNN then there's Sputnik news. Personally I don't think Putin is out to kill and occupy Ukrainians. He has his mind set on reglorifying the USSR and getting rid of the Neo natzis who are nationalist terrorists and run the country along with the Ukranian government who of course are largely corrupt politicians. Putin doesn't like NATO aka USA knocking on it's doorstep and refuses to concede that Ukraine will ever join NATO. The US has invaded over 50 countries in the last 100 years either directly or indirectly so it's okay for them? I just hope that Russia appease themselves by either pulling their tanks and going back home or demilitarising Ukraine and giving it back to the Ukranian people.
