I wonder if, in addition to the general Ukraine war background, specifically talk of Turkey blocking Russian access through the Bosphorus and Dardanelles straits might be adding to the GNC surge? If they did, it would mean that even if Russia had willing buyers, their grain may become a lot more expensive depending where it is being shipped to.
