In Russia or Ukraine- what would you rather have? Bitcoin, gold or USD? I would say USD, gold and that’s it. They are physical and don’t require any electricity/banks to transact with.
But then again you rather be carrying a dongle in your pocket with your 1k in btc while I have a $500 wad of usd in one pocket and $500 worth of gold in the other.
bitcoin can be pretty useful though to do a quick wealth transfer though given the swings. Trade the trade, don’t fall in love.
