Systems that are required to be customised per site suffer hugely in comparison to the economies of scale the powerbox has. This includes time to build/install, maintanence and scaling to extract the most from the heat source. They are not portable like the powerbox. And the powerbox has a uniquely designed turbine blade that extracts 30% more energy than other rankine systems.
The management team are truely savvy. They've sourced partnerships with a large engineering firm, brought an ex-environment minister on board and are set to raise money from the US.
Lastly, and probably most attactive to users, is no up-front costs. It's "pay for what power you purchase" rather than "pay hundreds of thousands up front then more in maintenance".
So like many companies, it's not just the IP or product but how the company operates that adds value.
