    Folks

To answer a few questions from above posts.

    Abandonment Pressure

Gas fields can be put on compression, so can be produced down to a low pressure (if economic to do so). The lower the pressure in the tubing, the lower the gas density so lower gas hydrostatic pressure.

    Tubing Size

Some one above mentioned 4-1/2" tubing.

I assume they used this so reasonable sized thru tubing perforating guns can be deployed for the upper zones. To save pulling the tubing and rerunning will TCP (tubing deployed guns).

5 MMscfd is a tiny gas rate up 4-1/2" tubing wrt efficiently lifting liquids. So they could have had slugging flow during the cleanup period

    Choke Size

Looking at the breakdown in pressures in my earlier post, I should have mentioned that not alot was to be gained by using a larger choke size. They were only holding 970psi. Reducing it to 500psi would increase the drawdown by about 400 psi, but because the drawdown was already high (low productivity index), maybe would have attained only an extra 10% flow rate.

Note, I'm a non holder at present. Might come across after the "April sun in Cuba" is concluded.
