Well, firstly there was the pandemic to deal with in the last few years where he was reportedly been isolated as he was really worry about contracting COVID-19. And I meant the Putin now not 5 years ago that he was always going to invade even if Ukraine promised they won't join NATO (which I think they end up doing????).
