The comparison is to the battle of Stalingrad . Which was a bloodbath for both sides . Proved that tanks in close urban situations are a liabilility and turns what should be quick battles into long wars of attrition . Ukraine cannot I believe win a war of attrition it can however and is make Russia pay in blood.
