I was wondering the same thing. Last year Tesla signed deal to buy Hydroxide from Sichuan Yahua. (CXO supply spodumene to Yahua )
Seems strange that Tesla are buying Spodumene concentrate?
Does Tesla plan to produce Hydroxide in China or is the purchase of Spodumene for Teslas own use in future Hydroxide plant in NT ?
A plant ownded by CXO but partially funded by Tesla.
