Q: How could Switzerland which was neutral in WW2 when Hitler was running rampant (as if that's a good thing), now suddenly take a side?
They ask this as a rhetorical question and act as if there is no need to answer.

Whereas it's far from a rhetorical question and the real answer is this:

A; Because Switzerland learned. They now realise that it was wrong not to.
