I think that subject to no serious weather interference at newcastle etc and export coal prices above US $220 per tonne , that NHC might achieve an EBITDA of over 1 Billion for FY 2022.
When I look at the past performance of the Board when it comes to writing of, provisioning , amortising etc, it is hard to find what is left that can be "written off".
Others have reported that debt is paid off so interest paid should be almost zero.
Despite having a couple of hundred million in cash , interest income would almost be zero.
With trepidation , I suggest that an EBT of $600 Million would not be out of the ballpark.
NHC Board is risk averse to paying dividends so I wouldn't bank on more that 15c per shares.
