I suggest you examine the old OGX forum and the poster Sirjohhnyboy to see what happened there. He did exactly what you say you have done except he was a geologist and thought he knew what he was doing.
Alas the story, far more compelling than FNTs, came to end in a disaster for the poster and those who followed his apparent expert, boots on the ground assessment.
He has that on his conscience and be careful you don't end up in the same boat.
