WOw, the crap that permeates MSB threads nowadays....

FOr those that don't care that MSB was removed from the ASX200, you must be nuts? That literally hundreds of funds will have sold the crap out of it as it is removed from ETF and index funds that consume much of the volume trading on the ASX, particularly superannuation?

For those that do care, funds will have been largely anticipating this removal (Its their jobs) and most of the selling will have been done. I bought GE in the US after its much lamented removal from the Dow Jones and doubled my money - admittedly I got lucky picking the lows. Companies do re-enter the ASX200 and MSB itself has been in twice and dropped out twice now.

Real simple, if it gains FDA approval and its mkt cap gain is sufficient, it will go back in the ASX200 again in the future. This was a very significant event for your invested capital, but it will have been largely priced in.
