Do you actually know how long it takes to lock in a unsecured loan for $7m? It is not like they can pop along to Afterpay and say gimme $7m to drill an oil well and I will pay in 4 equal installments when the option proceeds come in.
The people they ask for this sort of cash have spent a large number of years accumulating it. They will read and review the offer documents which have to be right on the mark else they will not stump up their hard earning cash.
You guys may bag CPS bring they bring to the table people willing to take a punt on an oil well to the tune of $7m. These investors are smart, you don't have that sort of coin making dumb decisions.
