just got home, interesting news .. in lots of ways

first point, has anybody else noticed the absence of the usual motley crew of trolls this evening .. a blessed relief really...

second point,
of the four companies that got in CCX was smallest with a market cap of 852
while MSB was the smallest market cap to be removed at 673

third point,
Poly's market cap at 668 should have had us booted (actually it should have had us booted at the last rebalance), assuming that that was how the S&P determined things, but obviously they don't (even if they do eventually)

fourth point,
given that companies on the ASX at around the 200 mark have capitalizations of 2 billion and that even those at the 300 market have capitalizations of $1.1 billion, the poly SP needs to get a wriggle on over the next 4 months ...

fifth point,
why did MSB get shafted and not poly, after all both have had the same problem with shorts being over 9%
well, and this is pure speculation perhaps the S&P fellas see a future in poly and are prepared to give us a further chance, but as for MSB maybe they think that this turkey has had more than enough chances and that the future looks rather bleak..

I know, I know you all thought I was putting forward sound reasoning, when actually all I wanted was to draw you in so that I could then put the boot into an unrelated company (one for which I have no animosity) .. now if only I could say the same thing for two of their trolls ....
