Being overly CAUTIOUS isn't exactly the place to be if you're a gold/silver miner. Sometimes you gotta rip the jeans off and let your balls get some air. Just waiting a week or two has already shown less shares would have needed to be raised to get the same $5M. In a month or two it's going to look ridiculously bad IMO. And those 50c options? What were they thinking?
That being said it won't have much impact on the share price when silver moves so caring too much about it is pointless IMO. You can't expect humans to make the best decisions every time and it is part of the "charm" in investing in human run companies.
I'm also annoyed like @Greenfeet1 that shareholders weren't the first go to but what are you going to do? When Karp said it was "well received" was he talking about the guys who got the 30c shares? I'd be happy too if I was them.
