the marriage equality plebiscite, was not a referendum which would have shown a far more legal, different result IMHO and the questions asked were designed to get a positive response not to mention the imbalance in the advertising programs
In other words the plebiscite obtained the result IMHO by trickery and does not reflect truth
As to jail for gays it was back in 1924 when that law was turned over, a lot of things since then have been improved
I have also have many friends who are gay and they are part of normal life but just because a few deranged individuals belt up gays does not reflect society in general so the massive campaign to prove that gays are the same as everyone else in every respect is giant overreach
the freedom to get married, *** They already had the legal right to form a union all they wanted was to change the dictionary so as to call their union a "marriage" which is another effort to justify their life style and their loathing
and discourtesy to the billions of the normally accepted definition of the word to describe their union
People should all get sufficient confidence in their own body to be happy in their own body, regardless of being fat or thin, black or white, we are all different but that should never be a measure of who we are and it is obvious that a large number of gay people urgently need to be accepted when they will not even accept themselves
