Just been giving that a bit of thought and what immediately comes to mind aligns with my mantra of "Good exits are far more important than good entries" and that's a sense of when an SP is showing weakness and signals of rolling over.
Having said that, I am still a work in progress with this but focus on it a lot and are improving.
I'll keep thinking as this is a good topic.
