I understand the argument but one cannot forget history and conflicts don’t happen overnight. I don’t want to go off topic so will stop there and just acknowledge that there is a war that is currently the media focus (key reason for panic selling) though it is not a world event. It is unfortunate that people in Ukraine are affected and my thoughts are with them.

As an investor, one only needs to see other wars or major events like Covid to understand that these early days are when the market goes down the drain quickly and then bottoms. This will put the war news on the back burner very soon unless other countries poke their nose in the events.

It will be hard to time the reversal and catch the exact bottom. Once the reversal happens the volume may evaporate and drive the SP higher quickly.
