It's a useless exercise to attempt to argue with that person. It doesn't matter what you say, he'll twist what you say to somehow turn it against gold. He's been told more times than I can remember that the Fed don't own gold. In fact no-one is suggesting it, only him. BUT they are actively involved in leasing gold (via the US Treasury) to keep it in check so that people don't lose faith in the ponzi USD. Bernanke admitted it before Congress. That is an undeniable FACT. When the argument doesn't suit his agenda he resorts to willful blindness. Pfft. Accordingly I don't engage with him anymore. Just an unintelligent shill who has no idea and consistently keeps getting it wrong. All in my humble opinion.
