There are a few things I noted from this. Firstly, the WCU management doesn't seem overly concerned with updating the market - they could have easily released this on the ASX, but they released it in a less-visible manner through website instead. Shows a bit of misunderstanding of the investor mindset, but more importantly, it shows that the lack of recent announcements is not because of a lack of progress - merely the management not understanding the importance of updates!
Keeping this in mind, I think there's a bit to be derived from the tone of the document. They seem to be very proud of the fact that they're getting to producer status - a good indication that there's been no major glitches in production.
The following points are new news, which I thought were quite positive - hints that everything is on track: - Secured sponsorship from major Canadian broker - Mineralisation probing (27 Nov) - Shop construction to be finished mid Dec
This stock was at 40c+ on the news of mine permits being approved. Since then, it's had a couple of months of delay in production and has been overly punished for this. But it's moving to production nonetheless and represents an excellent entry point for the smart money. Massively flying under the radar at the moment, but it should generate good publicity once the cash starts flowing (January?), which will put it on the radar of big investors. Lots of upcoming catalysts which should help drive a strong rerating of this.
As glowinthedark put it, it's very rare for a uranium explorer to reach this stage, so good on WCU for getting there – and it's still priced at what it was when it was a junior explorer without a permit! Big big buy opportunity imo for the stock. The options are a riskier bet, but the stock represents an easy 2-3 bagger at the very least. Obviously DYOR.
