If say only 10% of the 42m are sold on market and there is demand, the price will likely rise, depending on any buyer's willingness to accumulate a position.

ie: the volume for sale may only start at 35c, forcing potential buyers to bid up. this is one of many scenarios that additional liquidity could provide.

there's no other reason for this remaining stagnant in my mind. so let's hope next week the market remains in tact and gold prices high!
