If you're planning to climb Mt Warning, consider climbing in the early hours of the morning and catching the sunrise. Winter is probably the best season but The summit is more likely to be clear on Summer mornings.

The Bundjalung name for the mountain is Wollumbin, the cloud catcher. Even with the summit swirling in mist, it is a spectacular place but seeing the surrounding valleys filling with morning sunlight is truly awesome. I've climbed the mountain a dozen or so times over the years and been impressed every time. The first time was during daylight but all the others have been night adventures.
