If Tom Kaplin is still pulling strings it's possible. I've researched a coiple of his previous gold investments and he did just that til the gold price fell and them a he made super low ball t/o offers.
Kaplin was behind the US "make it bigger" influence imo. I spoke to Tom about this subject (who's the boss you or US billionaires) around xmas and he assured me they intend to mine.
The market lost faith re Bombora development a few years back and there's only one way to get it back imo.
