g'day juk,
the staff difficulties have been overcome.
the production issues are a work in progress. as we all know and commonsense suggests it can't be fixed overnight however i have been assured its all progressing in the right direction and this is mainly due to the staff they now have on the ground.
The have put millions into development drives to reach these two extra zones at wiluna. My memory is a bit hazy but i think they were into production from the second zone and may just be starting to get into the third now or in the very near future??
If you look at the development rate as illustrated on page 11 of the Annual report you'll see a major increase in october and november, this i am told is due to the experienced staff now controlling the mine.
They seem fairly confident of hitting that 140k output next year. One thing which was drummed home at the AGM and has been stated many times is that BIOX is not the problem, the plant although not running nearly as efficiently as they want, is not the problem. The problem was not getting ore up from underground and i believe they have overcome this although we will all wait for confirmation in the coming 3 to 6 months by way of production figures.
mate i'm not going to say its smooth sailing because i don't know, personally i've backed it and i'll either make some money or lose alot.
regards
Davo
