As of 03/03/2022 there are 64m outstanding short positions
Let's assume that at best the sharts can buy 50% of the day's trading volume
That's 32 trading days in a row of 4m shares traded for the sharts to close all their outstanding position.
So, if anything today is a taste or reminder of what a short squeeze looks like.
Once a sharts has broken ranks, others will be triggered to follow!
This is one of many more short squeezed days to come
Now add in a positive significant news or three - and we'll see what happens to the SP.
The sharts has had their fun pushing the SP down.
I want to enjoy the ride on the way up
It's a long way back, but it has to start somewhere (much better than the SP bleeding we had of late)
