The Port of Brisbane has been closed for some days due to debris from the large Brisbane floods, with at least 160 nautical hazards removed from around it, as well as 60 navigational aids damaged or destroyed.
Apparently limited operations are resuming tonight.
This must create difficulties for LAU's Fresh division that facilitates the export of much fruit among other items. Many container ships are badly delayed as a result: some altered their order of Australian port calls or are omitting various ports to try to recover time on the schedule.
