GDY say themselves it is the best hot rock resource in the world. I guess the only way to compare with other sites is to use the geothermal reporting code.
Nevertheless, as Geojac says, temperature is king and there's enough geothermal resource there to keep GDY very busy building wells for a long time to come once they prove up the technology.
I honestly don't think there will be any more government stimulus until the technology is proven here. But I do think it is a total disgrace we are spending so much government money on that oxymoron of clean coal when we could be getting more bang for our buck, IMHO, on renewable energy. I also think there could be a few game changing revelations to come, whether it be consensus at Copenhagen or a double dissolution on climate change. Also the expanded RET kicks in on Jan 1st 2010.
