We could add the following elimination rules for gold producers:

1. The gold producer is cash flow positive.

2. The gold producer is producing at least 40,000 ounces.

3. The share price must have risen at least 50% this year.

4. The share price must not be trading at or near its 12 month lows - probably indicating serious issues.

After all, we want to try and eliminate the duds.
