the drop is due to the nickel being halted on the LME. NIC also got affected due to association with tshingshan got involved in the shorting- both are laterite operations i suspect, could be the association of it. the sulphide ones arent going down as much. its temporary though, once nickel price resumes its (slower?) rise it'll rise again- next week is the reopening of nickel contracts.
