geojac my concern is that although temperature is king, temperature alone is nothing. There are many other projects which have achieved temperatures in the mid 200 range at much shallower depths and much more favourable economics (flow rates etc) so Im not sure at what measure makes GDY's the best. For example Dixie Valley in the US has been producing since the late 1980's at temperature of around 250c at depths of only 2,400 to 3,050m. Not to mention volcanic projects on the ring of fire which have huge temperature gradients.
