I agree with your reply.
I also have first hand experience with samples sent to labs at this time of year, I've been told by labs results in 2 weeks and thats turned into 2 months more times then I'd have liked.
I also agree with the rest of your assessment. Although I do expect a steady stream of news over the coming months, but yeah not necessarily company making news, but as a long term holder I am happy with the way things are heading.
