US foreign debt is predicted to be around 34% of its GDP by the end of this year. Its GDP is currently 14,266.2 billion according to the US DFAT country economic fact sheet.
Their monthly statement of Public Debt published by the US Treasury as at 30 Nov 09 was 12,113,048 billion dollars.
Surely that would be more than 30k per person?
The Treasury even have an address on the bottom of their web site where you can gift them money to help pay down the Public Debt "lol" I dont expect they would receive many donations?
The US Government is still increasing its debt levels, its continues to run a huge Trade defecit. They can not continue to keep building up these massive debt levels without something coming un stuck soon?
Something has to give sooner rather than later, and most likely it will be a currency collapse plus high interest rates and inflation etc etc.
