Here are a couple of companies that you can start with as possibilities. They seem to be active in LA and have operations there. Just a guess....
Given the cost of the wells, they would have to be pretty deep and that would again limit the possibilities. Seems to be very high....
So here goes:
1. Clayton Williams Energy (CWEI)
See the following for a couple of recent wells. The cost you talk about looks similar to what they have been costing the company. With the recent purchase of Southwest, they might be interested in getting a few partners to pony up the costs of additional drilling..
