Re "So, you do realise that Ukraine is not a NATO member, don't you?"
Yup, fully aware.
Re "I'll ask again...would you justify Russia invading Finland (whose President doesn't like Putin very much) if it seemed that Finland might join NATO, remembering that Finland has a 1,300+ kilometre potentially-threatening border with Russia?."
And I'll refer you to any one of my previous answers to this same question. Putin has signalled his intent with Ukraine since 2007. He has not signalled a similar intent anywhere else. There are Russians in East Ukraine that he feels (justifiably) are in danger and it is a threat to Russia that a US-supported puppet president is in power in Ukraine.
Again, I have to ask, would any country welcome a foreign nation helping to overthrow an elected president and install a neighbouring leader opposed to that country? Finland is not in the same category simply on that basis alone. You don't answer this because it unravels your argument, and, as we see with many arguments be they the Rothschild patent or the Dancing Israelis, you won't let that happen.
This conversation is following the normal pattern of you asking the same question, me answering it as best I can, and you ignoring anything I ask of you. You told me you give lectures, are you a stubborn "no questions please" goose with your audience?
