I have been watching CFU for a while now and am very excited by the technology. I am huge supporter of decentralised energy production - the quickest and easiest way to dramatically reduce CO2 emissions. My only problem with CFU is, what is stopping Paloma just taking the technology and copying it? Or gas utilities doing the same, like Origin with their PVs and solar hot water systems? I know that patents and contracts can restrict this to some degree, but they will eventually be walked around. I just struggle to see how CFU will be able to hold onto what they have, even if they have very very clear lawyers.
